The best spots for surfing in Andalusia
Andalusia offers you the best option in terms of camper van tourism in Spain, with many possibilities and routes. Surf lovers see in the Volkswagen T2 a good opportunity to know the region, which has beaches for all levels from beginner to advanced, in a classic wheels. But let´s see some spots in Andalusia:
Spots in Huelva

In the Huelva`s coast, Punta Umbria have, ideal for surfing. Moreover, during the sport competitions are organized and bodyboard. Strong winds from the Atlantic Ocean and weather conditions make for a superb meeting point.
In Huelva, you can also find Mazagón beach, popular for its vast beaches and pine forests, as it is located right next to the Doñana Park. This is an important enclave where not only you can find good waves, but also an exceptional landscape. Mazagon also has the most pristine beaches in the province of Huelva.
Spots in Cadiz

In the province of Cadiz, we find a classic among classics; Playa Los Lances, a place where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean sea are just 14 kilometers from Africa. It means a place of pilgrimage mandatory for all surfers. Strong winds causing high waves.
In the same Costa de la Luz, in Barbate, we find the Playa de Yerbabuena, a great place for surfers. The winds also make it an ideal place for this sport. Another site that has a great surfer roots is El Palmar, with many bars, nightlife and specialty shops. This beach has waves almost three meters and is the meeting place for the largest number of surfers in Spain. It has many peaks that break depending on the state of the tide and funds that can give mythical sessions tubes.
Spots in Málaga

Cabopino Beach in Marbella, is one of the best places for this sport. Its waves are moderate and also offers the possibility of practicing paddle surfing. This wave breaks right and left with sandy bottom with rock.
Spots in Granada

In the town of Granada Motril, we find Playa Carchuna with an extension of 3 kilometers. In summer it offers the best conditions for surfing with a north wind and waves right rock bottom with piping sections.
Spots in Almería

In Almeria we find an important spot located in the Playa del Zapillo and known as the Pico de la Pipa. It is an urban beach about 2 kilometers long. The area where surfers usually meet on a sand bottom protected by two breakwaters. It has waves and largar variables meter and a half. The ideal wind surfing there is the practice setting. It is ideal for all levels.
All these beaches have places where we can leave our campervan parked while we surf and enjoy the best scenery that gives us our coastline. The surf is always full of the hand of a classic such as Volkswagen T2.
